Saturday Selection

In between my Olympian adventures this week in Ipswich I did actually manage to get some pics of what I was after, some of the recent transfers from Essex. I also got some other interesting shots so not too much rambling today - I'll let the pictures do the talking for once.

Ex First Essex 66977 Volvo B7rle  KX05 WHA outside Revolution (formerly PALS) in Ipswich
66982 KX05 MHL in the gathering gloom at OCM
66978 at Wickham Market last week
It was also probably my last chance to take a pic of 69431 in Ipswich before her transfer to Essex. 69431 was the ex P&R B7rle given the all over Coes ad, and even made it to ShowBus 3 years ago I think it was.

69431 "enjoying" her last few days at Ipswich before transferring to Essex
Additionally I got my first pic of 32655 out in service since refurb, although it must be said she sounded rather unwell, ticking like an old Leyland National. I hope it's nothing serious.

32655 departs OCM for Felixstowe
It appears that for the first time the final fleetlist for Ipswich post refurbs is becoming clear - this is how I see it:

That's a total of 46 vehicles as long as I haven't missed any out and remember this in not an official list, just my own projection from what info I've gained so obviously subject to change. Incidentally if anyone has a fleetlist prior to the start of the refurb programme I'd be grateful to compare, and also if anyone has a fleetlist of 5 years ago I'm looking to do a comparison post after the refurbs are complete.

Recently repainted 69427 AU58 FFO arrives from Felixstowe
I also spotted a cople of irregular workings by other companies, and they will feature in tomorrow's round up together with a rather disturbing video which comprehensively settles the leather v fabric debate once and for all!
